# Terms of Service for SpaceCleaner

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SpaceCleaner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

## 2. The Service

SpaceCleaner is a mobile application that helps you manage and reclaim storage space on your iPhone. Features include:

- Photo and video duplicate/similar detection and cleanup

- Large video compression

- Contact deduplication and merging

- Calendar event cleanup

- Secret Vault (encrypted photo/video storage)

- Storage analysis and monitoring

- Network speed testing

All core features operate **entirely on-device**. No media files are uploaded to external servers.

## 3. Subscription & Pricing

SpaceCleaner offers both free and premium (SpaceCleaner Pro) tiers:

- **Payment** is handled by Apple via your Apple ID account. Apple's standard App Store refund policy applies.

- **Auto-renewal**: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel via **Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions**.

- **Price changes**: We may adjust pricing; Apple will notify you before any price increase takes effect.

## 4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose

- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code

- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App

- Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the App

## 6. Deletion & Recovery

- **Photos & Videos**: Deleted items go to your iOS "Recently Deleted" album and are recoverable for 30 days. SpaceCleaner does not permanently delete media without going through Apple's standard recovery mechanism.

- **Secret Vault**: Files stored in the vault are encrypted with AES-256. Vault files can be permanently deleted or restored to your photo library at your discretion.

## 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. While we strive for accuracy in storage analysis and cleanup suggestions, we do not guarantee:

- That all duplicate detection is 100% accurate

- That storage savings estimates will exactly match actual results

- That the App will be uninterrupted or error-free

**Always review cleanup suggestions before confirming deletion. We recommend verifying important files are backed up before performing bulk operations.**

## 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpaceCleaner and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

## 9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App.

## 10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

## 11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
